What We Do

The Riverside Health Clinic serves uninsured adults in Alleghany County, Bath County and the City of Covington.
How
to
Apply

Patients first need to complete an application packet before making an appointment at the Clinic.
The application packet can be completed by mail, on the telephone by calling 540.962.1660 or in person by visiting the Clinic at 322 West Riverside Street in Covington.
Adults who are eligible for Medicaid, Medicare, Veterans’ Benefits and insured adults do not qualify for the services of the Clinic.
Medical care is provided by volunteer physicians and a physician assistant.
Patients are seen by appointment only Monday through Thursday and Friday morning.
Prescriptions are ordered by our Pharmacy Services Coordinator, and can be picked up during regular Clinic hours.

Charges

Patients are asked to pay for services according to the following schedule:

Application Fee: $10
Medical Visit: $4
Psychiatric Visits: $5
30-day supply of medicine: $2
Laboratory Work done at the Clinic: Cost Varies
Bath
County
Patients

Bath County patients may also be seen by volunteer doctors whose offices are located in the Bath Community Hospital. Appointments can be made during regular office hours.

A member of the Clinic staff is available at the Bath Community Hospital the second Monday of every month from 2 to 4 PM to assist new patients with the application packet. No appointment is needed. To make an appointment for another time call 540.962.1660.
